Gee Mmm Oh! in sci multimedia best of

This animation tackles the science and debate around genetic modification in rhyme and has been selected to be part of Science Studio’s Best Science Multimedia on the Web for 2012. Science Studio features gems like TED-Ed, Radiolab, Minute Physics and us on a list of only 31 audio and video programs selected by a pretty amazing judging panel.

This animation takes a light-hearted look at possibilities of this technology which respects the science while still remaining a little skeptical about of the promised outcomes and big business ethics. It was originally published as a 3 episode series (What is GMO?, What could it do?, Where to from here?) by TechNyou in July 2012 and has been funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation, Science, Research and Tertiary Education (DIISRTE).
