Kristin: Who is Adelaide?

These two plus sixteen other portraits will tell stories about Adelaide and the people who use the city. These large portraits will be pasted up later this week around the west end of Adelaide. It’s all part of InsideOut – this year’s TED Prize wish for JR, an international photographer known for his large-scale works covering walls and buildings from South America to the Middle East to Africa. With support from Format, Renew Adelaide and the Adelaide City Council, Bridge8 and TEDxAdelaide has attracted local photographers to tell unheard stories of the city.

We’ll be running a session on our contribution to this global art project as part of Festival of Unpopular Culture. Join us at AC Arts at 2:30pm on Saturday 8th October to hear more, stories from our photographers and come on a walking tour of our street portrait gallery.
