Small things at Flinders University!

Lisa: If you are in Adelaide and interested in finding out more about nanotechnology in our state, the Marion Council Learning Festival is hosting a nanotechnology event on Wednesday 1st August 2pm till 4.30pm.  A tour conducted by the School of Chemistry, Physics and Earth Sciences at Flinders University will highlight the nanotechnology research and facilities at Flinders University.  It’s a free event, and a bus will be available to transfer people from Marion Council Building on Sturt Road, Marion, to Flinders University and back.  Here’s some information from the event organisers:

You may have heard of nanotechnology, but what exactly is it?  It really is the next big thing with vast scope for innovation and employment.  This tour will take participants on a tour of the nanotechnology facilities at Flinders University and will include hands on activities suitable for everyone from 15-90 years of age!
