We’re thrilled to see the release of the James’s second series of critical thinking animations for TechNyou – “This Thing Called Science“. Covering principles such as skepticism, empiricism, blind testing, and hypothesising, they also look at ethics and citizen science.

Our March event for I’m a Scientist, Get Me Out of Here! hosted three zones – agriculture, disease and wet & wild – with 751 registered students asking 793 questions, posting 444 comments and participating in 49 Live Chats. We’ve recently visited scientists across 6 cities to say thank you, and released our new video showing just what it’s like to talk to scientists online! Registrations for our next event in August 2013 are now open at imascientist.org.au.
